We are a two person shop in South Solon, Maine. Our designs are rooted in function and the natural beauty of wood. From a rough-sawn board we create a piece of furniture joined by the ancient tradition of pinned mortise and tenon. Each stretcher, drawer-pull, inlay, taper, dovetail, is an integral part of a uniquely simple and coherent whole. Polished grain patterns tell a century-long story, the connection of a tree to its environment.
