Logging Bridge
8" x 10" oil on panel

Most of the time I paint what's around me, landscapes, objects, food, road scenes, drivebys, recollections, things that are still here but maybe not for long.  I paint with oils mostly, and water colors from time to time.  I paint outside when I can, with my nifty Ben Haggett pochade paintbox. Most of the time I work fast and small. Painting for me is  an intense, exhilarating and exhausting experience. and I'm never sure when I start how things will end up. The results are mixed. Some good, some maybe, and some tossed in the wood furnace! I live in Cornville where I have a small studio with a makeshift gallery in the garage.
